Wine Making:

  • Grapes were meticulously hand-selected, crushed, and underwent 2 days of cold maceration before yeast inoculation (NT50). Fermentation occurred in small bins with regular punch-downs, maintaining a temperature between 22 & 30°C until dry on skins. Malo-lactic fermentation was completed in tank before racking to barrel. The wine matured in French and Hungarian barriques for 13 months (15% new).

  • Nose: Aromas of dark berries, plums, spice, with hints of liquorice
  • Palate: Juicy entry with fruit-driven dark fruit, plums, and cloves. The wine finishes dry with well-balanced tannins from judicious wooding.
