TASTES LIKE SUMMER
Stanford Hills Sauvignon Blanc
Immerse yourself in the Stanford Hills Sauvignon Blanc, a fresh and lively wine that embodies a blend of tropical fruit, kiwi, and a saline finish. The influence of orange “koffieklip” soils adds richness and texture, while the white limestone clay soils contribute tension and a savory note, creating a wine that truly tastes like summer.

- Grapes were harvested in the early morning, destemmed, crushed, pressed, and allowed to settle for 24 hours. Fermentation took place with selected yeast strains at 12-18°C. The wine was aged on the lees for 1 month, then racked off the gross lees, sulphured, and left on fine lees until blending. Before bottling, the wine was stored in stainless steel tanks at below 12°C, cold stabilized, and filtered. No additional acid, sugar, etc., were added.
Wine Maker’s Remarks:
- Colour: Pale straw
- Nose: Aromas of tropical fruits, lychee, grapefruit, golden delicious apples, and citrus blossoms
- Palate: Soft fresh entry leading to tropical fruit flavors from the nose. The wine offers a great texture on the finish with lingering citrus notes.
